GRL LET'S LEARN: Introduction to Mixing: Make This SND Better! 🎛️
Mixing can feel intimidating with all the knobs, plug-ins, and “rules," but it doesn’t have to be. This hands-on, small-group workshop is designed to help you trust your ears, understand the why behind your mix decisions, and walk away feeling more confident touching a session on your own.
Hosted by Sage Leger, producer and audio engineer, this workshop focuses on building confidence through practice, not perfection. In an intimate group of about five participants, you’ll work through the core foundations of mixing step-by-step, learning how to clean up a session, shape sounds, and create balance. All within a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Together, we’ll listen, experiment, and make real mix moves as a group. Every participant will get hands-on experience making EQ, compression, and balancing decisions, with guidance along the way.
